I like to image this blog as a woodland, where everybody could sometimes stop to refresh soul and ideas, and maybe find some inspiring glimpses of life....
Here you'll find all about beauty and art. Welcome!

FELTROSA 2011
Hi friends, here an image i found on the blog "Seven impossible things before breakfast", which describes perfectly these days here, where i live.
snow, snow snow. and again: snow.
today i was walking to the village where i live, a wonderfull fairy land in Appennini mountains, 20 km from the North Adriatic sea. I had to go out, otherwise i like to stay in my studio painting and looking this soft pop corn waterfall.
but i absolutely had to go.
because i discovered casually that next FELTROSA edition, in May, will be only 30 km away, and I CANNOT miss it.
Feltrosa is a very interesting event with workshops, and exibitions, about felt, and many artists from abroad come always to teach and share experience and works.
you can meet craftmans, find easily material, and books, and inspiration for your own projects.
It takes place every year in May, every time in a different city, and it is organised by Coordinamento Tessitori, in the person of Eva Basile, a very interesting and smart person.
Here's the website:

This year Rutsuko Sakata (http://www.rutsuko.net/) will teach us about her nuno felt, and i 'm exited to be present at this occasion!
mostly, i love japanese, and even they're funny-shintoistic way of speaking. there will be even a very nice workshop with the English Mandy Nash, about felt-design.
ABSOLUTELY great!
so, my friend, is under the snow, coming back from the village, a wonderfull medieval place looking on a valley framed by mountains, and at far distance the great rough sea, that i tell you:
how many pop corns are making up there? :)
